SCI 301 CHEM - Chemistry - A
Description Grades 11 or 12 Science Course
for College Prep students
Prerequisite: Algebra 2(or currently enrolled)

This course is designed to provide a solid foundation in the subject of Chemistry at a college preparatory level. In this course you will study the very nature of the matter and energy that makes up the physical universe that God created. You will also seek to understand both the precision and the principles of design that are found throughout God’s creation and, by so doing, exalt Him as the Creator. Also, wherever possible, the principles of Chemistry will be illustrated with examples of their use in everyday life. Ultimately, though, the desire is for all students, through the study of Science, to come to better appreciate and, thus, be compelled to worship our great Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, as they learn more about what He has made.

Unit 01  Matter - The Substance of Chemistry
Unit 02  Stoichiometry
Unit 03  Gases
Unit 04  Chemical Thermodynamics
Unit 05  Atomic Structure and the Periodic Table

...he enjoys the flexibility this type of schooling offers. He is usually able to complete his daily tasks in 3 to 4 hours a day. This leaves the rest of the day open for him to work part-time in the afternoons, or even ski.
