Graduation Requirment 3.0 credits. History courses are taught with a Christian worldview in mind. Students learn to see God's hand throughout history as they discover events that have shaped our community, country and world.
(Note: an 'A' designation after the course name means first semester of curriculum and 'B' indicates the second semester.)

Description Grade 12 Requirement
This class offers an overview of the American system of government and economics, evaluates it from a Biblical perspective and compares it to other systems of government around the world. Students will also study current issues in society and be challenged to become knowledgeable about the issues as they seek a Biblical understanding of the differing opinions people have. Students should already have a good understanding on how to write Standard Five Paragraph essays. This course requires this form of essay writing for all essays. A review session will be scheduled for those students who wish to review this basic form of essay writing.
